Where Simplicity Meets Possibility

About Our Simple Start

It all began with a moment of frustration. Our founder, Alex Carter, was staring at a cluttered desk, an overflowing inbox, and a to-do list that seemed to grow faster than it shrank. Sound familiar? That’s when the realization hit: life wasn’t supposed to feel this heavy.

Alex started small—clearing out a single drawer, setting boundaries with work, and finding ways to make technology work for them instead of against them. The results were life-changing. What started as a personal experiment turned into a passion for helping others do the same. And so, Make Life Simple Again was born.

Today, we’re a team of writers, strategists, and enthusiasts who believe simplicity isn’t about doing less—it’s about doing what matters most. We’re here to help you find clarity, take action, and create a life that feels as good as it looks.

The edit for a clear life.

We bring a curator’s eye to the details of modern living—how you work, earn, design, and connect—offering only what makes life lighter, sharper, and more intentional.

Meet the Team

We’re a small but passionate team of writers, thinkers, and doers who are obsessed with making life simpler. Here’s who’s behind the scenes:

Cole Carter

Founder & Simplicity Strategist

Cole doesn’t believe in overcomplication—whether it’s a business plan, a living room layout, or the way you plan your week. With roots in corporate strategy, he’s spent years proving that clarity beats complexity every time.

Maggie Dave

Home Organization Expert

Maggie has a knack for seeing a room not just as it is, but as it could be. With more than ten years in professional organizing, she blends practicality with an eye for detail that makes homes feel functional and human at the same time. She’s been featured in leading design magazines, but her favorite stories are the small ones—helping someone rediscover joy in a space they thought no longer worked.

Gwen Magramo

Productivity & Finance Writer

Numbers and narratives rarely live in the same room—but Gwen brings them together. A former financial analyst turned writer, Gwen makes career and money choices feel approachable without losing their edge. Their work dives into how people actually use time and money: the psychology, the habits, and the systems that make both feel manageable.

Hunter Park

Tech Simplification Guru

Hunter is less interested in the latest gadget drop and more obsessed with how technology fits into everyday life. He writes about the apps, tools, and digital habits that make modern living smoother. Hunter once went a full month without a smartphone—and lived to tell the tale.
